This chapter reviews several applications of causal discovery in social sciences. One application deals with understanding the factors that people take into consideration when making decisions related to the energy transition. A second example presents a causal model relating environmental factors to armed conflicts. A third example deals with discovering causal relations in the stock markets. Other application is about finding causal relations from legal texts, and finally, learning causal structures for marketing mix models.
