This study contributes to optimizing raw material inventory management within an Algerian company through a methodical approach based on robust analytical tools. The main issue encountered is the management of high raw material inventory costs. To address this problem, a solution is proposed using ABC analysis to classify inventories based on their value and importance. ABC analysis, with its analytical efficiency, allows for the classification of stored products according to their significance using consumption data over a year. This method provides a clear structure for identifying the most critical products in inventory management. By applying this method, the company can enhance its operational efficiency, optimize its resources, and ensure better availability of the most demanded products. The case study focuses on SafiLait, a company located in Constantine, Algeria. This approach not only reduces costs but also increases customer satisfaction by ensuring the availability of key requested products. The results obtained show that the classification of raw materials has kept inventory levels at their lowest, leading to improved delivery times, reduced unnecessary stock costs, and increased customer satisfaction. This case study offers valuable insights and can also be applied to other companies, both nationally and internationally, facing similar inventory management challenges.
