Building Competitive Advantage Through Sustainable Business Model: Strategic Analysis of Nirvana Retreat Farm (RAK)

The paper analyzes the sustainability and competitive advantage of Nirvana Retreat Farm in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Using qualitative research, including interviews with management and visitors, as well as various strategic tools, the study assesses the farm’s alignment with external forces and internal capabilities. Results show that the farm’s initiatives align with UAE’s sustainability goals, and strategic recommendations include market-specific packages and exploring franchising in the GCC. Nirvana Retreat Farm exemplifies sustainable tourism, setting a benchmark for eco-friendly business models in the industry and offering insights for stakeholders, policymakers, and academics.
