Screencasting as an Assessment Tool in Online Research and Comprehension
摘要
This paper explores how an authentic assessment method incorporating screencast technology can be a valuable tool for assessing Online Research and Comprehension (ORC). We examine previous research on the use of screencast technology in several learning environments and present a case study of a screencast assignment. The case highlights screencast’s value as an assessment tool that reveals students’ online moves and thinking processes. We also examine both advantages and limitations of using screencast technology for ORC assessment, providing insights into how instructors can use screencast technology to assess students’ performance.
