This article presents data on the contamination of irrigated grassland soils with heavy metals, specifically lead and nickel, due to the technogenic activities of Samarkand International Airport. The results indicate that the highest concentration of lead was 320 mg/kg (2,200 m northwest of the airport), total lead reached 525 mg/kg (2,000 m west), and nickel was measured at 280 mg/kg (2,200 m west and 2,500 m northwest). These values exceed background levels and permissible limits by several times. The most polluted areas are primarily in the western, northwestern, and northern directions, which is likely due to prevailing wind patterns in these directions.
