The purpose of these two separate risk assessments is to obtain prospective and probabilistic estimates of direct economic losses at urban scale in two study areas along the Pacific Coast. This recipe requires the development of an event-based probabilistic seismic hazard assessment to account for the future earthquake occurrence, from which a PTHA is derived allowing the obtention of a stochastic tsunami event-set.
