The Adriatic Sea, and more precisely some coastal cities along different Croatian islands, are well-known locations of interest for weather related meteotsunami (or atmospherically driven tsunami) events. The presented recipe develops and evaluates the Croatian Meteotsunami Early Warning System (CMeEWS) prototype, which applies an observational-deterministic-stochastic approach and employs a surrogate model.
