This chapter introduces the two-dimensional classical laminate theory. Based on the results of the previous theory chapters, the differences between the one-dimensional simplified theory and the two-dimensional extensions are highlighted. The similarities or differences in the corresponding one- and two-dimensional equations are clearly highlighted. Furthermore, the recommended steps for a two-dimensional calculation according to the classical laminate theory are introduced in the same manner an in the one-dimensional case.
