Chapter 7 considers various structural, cultural, political, and economic factors that shape contemporary American computer crime investigations. These include the transformation of force in such investigations, the evidentiary and legal problems created by the proliferation of online and big tech platforms, and the economic politics of contemporary computer crime policing.
