Industries are evolving towards a more human-centered and intelligent future. Unlike industry 4.0, which focused on automation and data-driven processes, industry 5.0 (I5.0) emphasizes the collaboration between human expertise and systems intelligence. Thus, understanding I5.0 impact on operational excellence becomes essential. More clearly, by deploying established operational excellence methodologies like Lean tools, continuous improvement and Six Sigma within these advancements, supply chains can achieve operational excellence. In this context, this study examines how the I5.0 paradigms enhance operational excellence, efficiency, competitiveness and sustainability in modern business operations. So, this paper aims to identify the key enablers of I5.0 that influence operational performance. Using Fuzzy TOPSIS method, this study ranks these enablers based on expert evaluations to assess their impact effectively. The findings provide a strategic perspective on how organizations can dive into this new era. By balancing technological growth with human-centric approaches, supply chains become more competitive and sustainable.
