Sustainable Investment Policies in Renewable Energy Through Artificial Intelligence

It is more crucial than ever to make the switch to a low-carbon/sustainable/green economy. The growing renewable energy industries, which demands large investments, are at the heart of this transformation. Because artificial intelligence (AI) can analyze large volume of data, find different patterns, and optimize sophisticated systems, it is emerging as an ergastic tool to support sustainable investment policies in the region globally. Harnessing the power of AI can help the increase decision-making clarity, reduce risks, and accelerate the implementation of renewable energy projects for investors and governments. This chapter explores the synergistic nature of AI and renewable energy, demonstrating how this technology may be applied to appreciate project viability, optimize investment strategies, and develop efficient energy policies. The challenges to sustainable investment policies in renewable energy include data quality and availability, costs associated with those investments, regulatory issues, inherent AI challenges, ethical issues, and issues in scaling and applying AI-based predictive models. Last but not least, implementing AI into sustainable investments may foster a new potential for greater, sustainable and environment friendly world.
