The paper examines the comprehensive of digitalization system to enhance the marine NAVAIDs system in monitoring of the traffic and aids to navigation (AtoN) in the Straits of Malacca (SOM) and Malaysian waters. The high significance of the SOM as a bustling critical international shipping route ensuring the safety and efficiency of maritime traffic is vital. The digitalization process involves the integration of advanced technologies such as GPS, radar, and remote sensing to improve the accuracy and reliability of data. Utilizing technology from the marine sector, the E-Nav system permits real-time monitoring and remote control of AtoN, enabling quick repair and efficient navigational response. Moreover, the digitalization of AtoN data opens avenues for the development of decision support systems and predictive analytics, empowering stakeholders with enhanced situational awareness and risk management capabilities. Technological advancement optimizes navigational safety and efficiency by facilitating proactive measures, leveraging historical data analysis, and identifying patterns to anticipate potential issues. The findings highlight the substantial benefits of the digitalization efforts, underscoring their potential to revolutionize maritime navigation in the SOM and Malaysian waters and offering valuable sights for future developments in the domain of maritime traffic management.
