During the research and publication process there are quite a few barriers, but when one reaches the end of the research process and a document is ready to be published, we face a different series of obstacles and rules. In the final stage of the research process, the publication, once again there are challenges and guidelines to follow. Remember that the publication of research is very important because, firstly, new knowledge is being created. It is also an ethical requirement, and a way to honour the time that the study participants gave in order for us to collect the data. If the research is not published, it does not exist. At the final stage, we should have the manuscript prepared after undergoing a series of reviews within the research team, and it is now ready to be submitted to a journal. The question is: where do we send it? What is our target journal? This chapter will discuss a series of considerations for selecting and identifying the appropriate journal to publish, and the administrative aspects of submitting the manuscript to the journal.
