Creating humane and enduring communities presents a meaningful endeavor, given planners’ vast enthusiasm for forging intelligent cities or solely emphasizing the ecological aspect of sustainability. The study aims to establish a comprehensive framework that connects human needs to the process of urbanization to meet the needs of urban dwellers. Furthermore, the study seeks to identify indicators that accurately gauge the degree to which various aspects and elements of urbanization within a city fulfill these needs. The research method utilized in this study involved conducting a comprehensive analysis of existing literature to investigate the correlation between human urban needs and the field of urban construction. Consequently, a set of universal guidelines and metrics was devised to assist in fulfilling these needs. The result was the creation of a comprehensive framework that serves as a fundamental basis for the establishment of future cities. This framework outlines approaches for realizing human requirements through urban development, thereby facilitating the assessment of cities and the conceptualization of human needs in the future. Consequently, it indicates the prosperity and extent of human values that cities will embody in the future.
