Ethical AI for Sustainable Education: Addressing Equity, Privacy, and Systemic Challenges in AI-Driven Learning
摘要
This study explores future teacher’s views on ethical issues in the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational settings. Systemic limits including inequitable access to AI resources, risks for data privacy, divergent perspective on cultural inclusion, reveals research. In particular, prospective teachers acknowledged the usefulness of AI technologies for information retrieval and comprehending concepts, whereas they considered the role of AI technologies in fostering creativity and critical thinking as weak. This study shows that prospective teachers similarly struggle to understand ethical issues, including algorithmic bias and diminished human agency. This requires the educational community to develop robust ethical standards surrounding access to AI technologies, transparency, and the protection of privacy rights. AI tools will not be effective unless they are used by teachers, who have been trained in three harmonious pillars: technological innovation, institutional educational principles, and teacher autonomy. The proposed method overcomes the ethical concerns regarding AI by implementing a human-centered educational framework using data up to October 2023 that augments, instead of replaces, human capabilities.
