摘要
This research aims to analyze recent scientific production in the last decade relating to the application of AI in higher education and scientific research. It is an exploratory approach, based on the fundamentals of bibliometrics analysis, which aims to understand the current provisions of this theme and give indications for the future. Subsequently, cartographic visualizations will help identify the development of this research question over the years, the relationships between countries and possible future subject trends. More than 1046 papers published in the previous 10 years were examined in this research using the OpenAlex database. The VOS Viewer tool was used to visualize the dynamic and the structure of publications. The descriptive analysis involved studying publishing articles over time, the geographical distribution and trends of research topics. As a result of this study, there is a fluctuation in the number of publications with a large evolution in the last 2 years. In terms of quantitative production, the study reveals a predominance of Russia followed by China and US. The inquiry revealed that aside from ethical and technical questions, healthcare and medical inquiries have been among the primary topics in recent years.
