Triply Periodic Minimal Surface structures « TPMS » are porous structures that have been extensively researched for their remarkable mechanical properties. For our study, we focused on a class of TPMS structure called IWP « I – graph Wrapped Package ». We first examined the behavior of this structure under tension, as well as its energy absorption characteristics, before studying its fracture. We simulated the damage to the structure using the phase field method, enabling us to visualize and analyze the failure mechanism of the IWP structure.
