The aim of this study is to examine how hybridization and stacking affect the damping properties of a flax-carbon composite structure. These hybrid composites were produced by stacking using the infusion process. The modal analysis of plates was carried out experimentally using a shaker for the vibration solicitation and a laser vibrometer for non-contact metrology of the vibration amplitude. The vibration properties are determined especially the resonance frequencies and the damping factor. The results show a high degree of concordance with the literature. In addition, it is demonstrated that the stacking sequence is a key factor influencing the damping capabilities of hybrid composites.
