The COVID-19 pandemic presented exceptional confrontations for small family businesses, markedly in businesses such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. This article investigates how these businesses leveraged social responsibility (SR) lead to traversing the calamity, sustain market share, and preserve effective stakeholder relationships. By embracing a steady methodology that includes economic, environmental, and societal objectives, small family businesses exhibited flexibility and malleability. Examples from the pharmaceutical and cosmetic businesses demonstrate how core implementation of SR plans encouraged confidence, improvement, and long-term sustainability.
