Distorted Behavioural Responses
摘要
To enact motivational dispositions a person must adopt courses of action. Chapter 6 discusses four categories of problematic behavioural responses to motivational dispositions, namely lying and deceit, illicit gain, abuse, and self-destructive behaviour. These categories represent intentional courses of actions to attain illicit ends. They are strategic in nature and must be distinguished from spur-of-the moment impulsive actions such as angry outbursts. The identified categories of distorted behaviour show some overlap. For instance, lying and deceit may be employed to attain illicit gain. Chapter 6 defines each of these behavioural categories and discusses the various forms these behavioural responses take.
