Revolutionary Coordination Junta
摘要
The following work deals with the guerrilla convergence project that the Revolutionary Coordination Junta (JCR) undertook in 1974. This organisation, made up of various guerrilla groups from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Uruguay, was the first attempt to create a supranational mechanism to confront the authoritarian tendencies in the Southern Cone. However, it ended up being very weak and, in any case, full of contradictions and pressing weaknesses. In this respect, an attempt is made to explain the factors and elements that justify its rapid disappearance, illustrating the central argument with documentation produced by the armed groups themselves, which is available at the Documentation Centre of the Armed Movements or at the David Cámpora Armed Struggle Archive in Montevideo.
