The upper limb has been highlighted with some of its homology to the lower limb in compartmental structure and neurovascular supply. Aspects of the brachial plexus important in its evaluation and in the determination of lesions are considered. Individual nerve lesions of the hand are discussed in light of the known anatomy and its variations.
