In this chapter the arrangement of the roots of the lumbar and sacral plexus and its branches are described along with drawings that allow the reader to configure the structure of these plexi. The formation of the sciatic nerve and its division into the tibial nerve (anterior divisions) and common fibular or common peroneal nerve (posterior divisions) is explained.
