 In the closing section, Sistren’s transition to the 21st century, including its use of sociodrama in Kingston’s inner-city communities as a form of violence prevention, is discussed. The coda focuses on Sistren’s recent work helping residents in inner-city communities to make drama about their lived experiences of social and economic inequality and the impact of violence on their everyday lives. The conclusion to the book assesses the extent to which Sistren is still able to intervene in Jamaica’s socio-political discourses and comments on its longevity and legacy in Jamaican society.
