This chapter addresses the question of how health impact assessment procedures in urban planning could be levelled up to better respond to One Health challenges. Based on a thematic literature review, a brief background on the development of health-oriented evaluations in urban planning processes is presented. Current practices are reflected, especially within Finnish urban planning practices. From this standpoint, the possibilities for improved practices in the era of Artificial Intelligence are speculated.
