The paper deals with the evaluation of different methods for detection of the island operation, which are applicable in the context of external protection devices for distributed generation. These methods are mostly of passive type, which means that they are based on monitoring of network parameters, without active intervention into it. Special attention is devoted to the method based on the evaluation of the vector shift. In order to verify the applicability of this method in a real network, a simulation was created in which the vector shift values were evaluated for different normal and abnormal situations.

摘要

The paper deals with the evaluation of different methods for detection of the island operation, which are applicable in the context of external protection devices for distributed generation. These methods are mostly of passive type, which means that they are based on monitoring of network parameters, without active intervention into it. Special attention is devoted to the method based on the evaluation of the vector shift. In order to verify the applicability of this method in a real network, a simulation was created in which the vector shift values were evaluated for different normal and abnormal situations.
