We propose two families of operators which could be used as triangular norms or conorms in the framework of type-2 fuzzy sets. We study their properties and present two new preorders for the set of functions from [0,1] to [0,1]. We show that the proposed operators satisfy the definition of t-norm and t-conorm, respectively, with the given preorders.
