Microwave Heating and Medical Hyperthermia
摘要
Microwaves (electromagnetic waves at very high frequencies) are a method for heating materials. This process is important because energy is dissipated in the entire mass of the material as a result of dielectric losses and is very useful when a fast and uniform heating of materials with low thermal conductivity is required. The field of application is very wide because the materials involved can be wood, plastic, soils and biological tissues.
