摘要
This chapter analyses gender differences in the evolution of academic productiongender differences in the evolution of academic production to describe recent topics of interests among economists around the world. Specifically, using RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) as a primary source of information, the chapter tests if there is a convergence in research interests between men and women who are considered top economists. Analyzing the evolution of the gender composition across fields of research within economics is a necessary step in the direction of conceiving economic research as a social activity imbued with power dynamics deeply gendered.
