TMS, MEG, and fMRI: Comparing and Contrasting Three Functional Mapping Techniques
摘要
This chapter compares and contrasts the three functional mapping techniques of navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS), magnetoencephalography (MEG), and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). It is divided into the two sections: the first section describes each of the three modalities, highlighting aspects of each modality that distinguish it from the others; the second section compares and contrasts these three modalities and seeks to help the reader identify which modality(ies) would be most helpful for given clinical situations.
