The analysis explores how the project, though conceived with clear objectives, was gradually shaped by unexpected constraints and evolving needs. In the context of open data systems, this chapter highlights the pivotal role of information collectors. As users increasingly exercise selectivity in choosing their sources, a subtle yet profound shift in trust emerges. This growing selectivity fosters information bias, where the perceived credibility of sources influences users’ decisions. This chapter also examines the implications of this shift, considering how design decisions impact broader systems.
