Increasing growth of the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) significantly impacts the finance sector in all domains such as lending, borrowing, budgeting, saving, and investing. In the Metaverse, AI acts as a pivotal technology tool, seamlessly integrating blockchain technology to enhance security, transparency, accuracy, and efficiency. This chapter aims to provide a holistic perspective on the current state of research and practices on application of AI in banking, financial fraud detection and cybersecurity, credit management, and investment in the context of the Metaverse. By synthesizing and critically analysing the findings of relevant studies, this study identifies potential opportunities, trends, and challenges of the AI application in Metaverse finance. This study positions AI as an indispensable technology tool shaping the future of finance in the evolving ecosystem of the Metaverse.
