Colorimetric detection based on plasmonic nanoparticles is attracting a growing attention for the development of user-friendly devices. The Color Picker System, is a sensing device developed aiming to fast and reliable analysis of next generation, where the results are displayed on a smartphone and at the same time could be shared with the family doctor or an health center. A central part of the sensing mechanism is an array of plasmonic metal nanoparticles, which properties determine the sensing capability of the device. Herein, an Artificial Intelligence algorithm will be applied in order to classify spectra of different types of particles.
