A 53-year-old male patient with a history of alcoholism, ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm complicated with hemorrhagic shock, treated with urgent surgery is transferred to the Cardiac Care Unit for repeated episodes of wide QRS complex tachycardia recorded while in the Post-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. His ECG recorded at admittance to the Cardiology Department is presented in Fig. 1.
