In this chapter, the operators of selective revision are examined in detail, both in the context of belief bases and belief sets. Selective revision is introduced as a strategy enabling the selective incorporation of new information into belief states. Specific methodologies for constructing selective revision operators are detailed, alongside a set of postulates and representation theorems defining their logical properties. Selective revisions for belief sets are also presented at a supplementary level.
