Gamification in Physical Education Teaching
摘要
Gamification has been consolidated as an innovative pedagogical strategy that promotes active and motivating learning in various educational contexts. In the teaching of physical education, its application offers a dynamic and effective alternative to improve student participation, increase their interest in physical activity and develop socioemotional skills. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of use of gamification as a tool in the teaching of physical education. It has been developed through a literature re-view and a field study, analyzing teachers’ perceptions about the use of this strategy and the factors that influence its adoption. The results indicate that many teachers recognize the potential of gamification to improve motivation and performance, the lack of techno-logical resources and insufficient training in digital tools by teachers represent significant obstacles to its effective implementation. It is necessary to offer continuous training processes to teachers in order to implement gamification effectively. This strategy makes classes more interesting and motivating, promotes teamwork and makes it easier for students to apply what they have learned outside the classroom, improving their academic performance.
