In this chapter, we focused mainly on the concept of globalization and how it affects human resource management. We started with a definition of globalization and described its periods in more detail. We also presented the effects of globalization, which can be negative or positive. We described what a global company looks like and ended with a description of globalization movements and human resources in globalization. They are crucial in making the ISSR society, and the survival of humankind. Economic inequality is often exacerbated by the monopolistic tendencies of neoliberalism, skewing wealth distribution disproportionately.
