This chapter presents embedding-based approaches to bisociative literature-based discovery. Section 9.1 explains the concept of embeddings and illustrates the potential of word embeddings for bisociative knowledge discovery. Section 9.2 presents a text embedding-based LBD methodology, and a network embedding-based LBD approach presented in Section 9.3. An implementation of the text embedding-based approach to LBD is presented in Section 9.4.

This chapter presents embedding-based approaches to bisociative literature-based discovery. Section 9.1 explains the concept of embeddings and illustrates the potential of word embeddings for bisociative knowledge discovery.
