Robotic surgery is a rapidly evolving field that is gaining traction across multiple surgical specialities. Hand surgery in particular presents unique challenges as it encompasses both bony and soft tissue components. This chapter discusses in detail the TiRobot robotic surgical system that was developed specifically for bone work in hand surgery.
