Why Diversity Initiatives Fail, and Some Less-Than-Modest Proposals for How They Might Succeed: A Racial Capitalist and Natural Law Analysis
摘要
This chapter describes the problems plaguing institutional diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, first unpacking a superficial problem besetting DEI on its own terms and then unpacking a deeper problem related to DEI’s claims to justice. Concluding, an alternative account of DEI is offered through the tradition of moral reasoning referred to as the natural law.
