This paper seeks to investigate the fundamental role of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in enhancing the teaching process. The relevant topic of discussion utilized literature reviews from referenced and peer-reviewed sources such as journals, chapters, proceedings, and books. The discovery showed that AR’s role in supporting the instructional process is to enhance its specific impact on aiding in the improvement of planning, processes, and practices in the education setting. Elaborating further on the main discovery highlighted two important aspects: improving AR for educational support and integrating AR with digital design for instructional purposes. This paper aims to improve the important role of supporting instruction and education by enhancing the connection between theoretical concepts and practical teaching methods. The study suggested the importance of enhancing ongoing monitoring of planning along with active participation in improving instructional practices to make learning more engaging and successful in reaching the desired objective.
