Currently, traditional teaching methodologies used in educational centers are not effectively adapted to the technological era, which can lead to poor student academic performance, especially in communication courses. The main objective of this research is to implement a b-learning platform that strengthens distance learning in communication courses in a basic education school. The research design is quasi-experimental and quantitative. The SCRUM framework was used, which proved to be very effective in the implementation of the proposed platform. To obtain the results of the research, two research instruments were applied: (i) a written evaluation test (control and experimental); the results indicated a 14% increase in grades with the use of the b-learning platform. (ii) satisfaction survey was administered to 123 students. First, the reliability of the instrument was measured using Cronbach's alpha, the result of which was 0.868, indicating excellent internal consistency. Next, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test was performed, the result of which was 0.001, indicating a non-normal distribution. Finally, the Rho Spearman test was applied, and the result was 0.565, indicating a moderate positive correlation. In conclusion, the results demonstrate that the implementation of the b-learning platform strengthens distance learning.
