The study reveals general and specific methodological principles of working with online survey services in the process of organising and conducting sociological research online. The paper describes the basic principles of developing a sociological online questionnaire with the help of online survey services. Special attention is paid to the possibilities of online survey services for sociological data collection, statistical analysis and visualisation of online survey results, as well as to the problems of data preparation for computer processing and statistical analysis. This study expands the boundaries of scientific ideas in the field of theory and methodology of sociological research using modern information technologies and computer facilities.
