Spherical inclusions with a radially transverse isotropic layer in conductive and elastic media are considered. The objectives are revealing the properties of the interface layers that make inclusions neutral for homogeneous external fields. Neutral inclusions do not disturb external fields applied to the medium and therefore, they are “invisible” for external observers.
