The chapter highlights the rise of digital insurance models, partnerships with telecom providers, and innovations in health and agricultural insurance. It further assesses the challenges facing InsurTech adoption, including low digital literacy, infrastructure gaps, and data privacy concerns. While empirical research on InsurTech in Africa remains limited, this study provides practical insights into the continent’s emerging insurance ecosystem and identifies policy actions needed to foster inclusive growth. The analysis underscores the importance of enabling regulatory frameworks, ICT investment, and consumer education in unlocking InsurTech’s full potential for financial inclusion.
