Territorial Marketing Practices in the Moroccan Context: Attempting to Conceptualize a Territory’s Image and Its Impact on Tourism

Cities and regions contend fiercely to get international attention and boost their prosperity in a rapidly evolving world. By matching offerings with the demands of foreign tourists, territorial marketing has become a key strategy for boosting regional competitiveness. The Casablanca-Settat region is the subject of this study, which explores global perceptions of it. To learn more about the region’s appeal and worldwide effect, this research uses qualitative techniques including semi-structured interviews. These approaches will provide useful information about the elements impacting the region’s reputation by gathering extensive visitor opinions. The data will be analyzed using Voyant Tools, which gathers comprehensive visitor impressions and provides advanced insights into the factors influencing the region’s image. This study seeks to provide practical insights for territorial marketing strategies by examining all of the variables that influence the region’s image. The Casablanca-Settat region’s international relevance will be reinforced by these initiatives, which will also make it a more desirable travel destination. Overall, this study contributes to the ongoing conversation about how regions might improve their image and competitive edge in an increasingly globalized world.
