Digital media has emerged as a vital platform for shaping cultural awareness in societies. The adoption of digital media and the exposure to diverse content and online interactions have enabled users to interact with different cultures, beliefs and norms. This study follows the descriptive-analytical approach by reviewing studies related to digital media and developing cultural awareness in society, especially related to the Arab world youth. The study found that social media influences youth behaviors, attitudes, and choices by providing them with access to different cultural awareness and sensitivity among young people. Social media also serves as a powerful tool to promote cultural understanding and awareness among young people in society by facilitating meaningful cultural interactions, promoting tolerance, and broadening horizons of thinking.
