Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy
摘要
Hypertension affects 2–8% of all pregnancies worldwide and is a leading cause of pregnancy-related mortality. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) are classified based on timing of onset (i.e., pre-existing chronic hypertension or pregnancy associated gestational hypertension or preeclampsia) and disease severity (i.e., non-severe or severe). This chapter will discuss the epidemiology, clinical criteria used for classification of HDP, management algorithms, and strategies for prevention of HDP.
