This study is the examination of the impact of self-esteem, humor and perceived stress among young adults, a comparative study between individuals who are in romantic relationship and not in romantic relationship. The objectives of the study is to determine the influence of self-esteem and analyse the gender differences in humor and perceived stress amongst young adults. Previous studies have examined self-esteem alongside humor or perceived stress, often focusing on psychological well-being. The results indicate that when self-esteem increases perceived stress also reduces, when it comes to gender difference in self-esteem it does not have a significant difference whereas for humor there is a significant gender difference is present. According to plot description shows that females show higher relationship status compared to male. It suggests a potential role of gender in romantic relationship distribution.
