Students’ Personal Traits and Entrepreneurial Intention: Case Study in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)

Since the early 2000 era onward, until now there has been a lot of talk about university students being interested in starting their businesses than looking for jobs. Students’ entrepreneurial intention is influenced by personal traits, namely attitude and control belief. Even though this relationship has been well examined, there hasn’t been much discussion of personal traits as a significant influence in the research literature on entrepreneurship education. Henceforth, this study aimed to investigate how personal traits influence ones inclination, towards entrepreneurship aspirations by utilizing a survey approach to gather insights from students enrolled in the economics and business departments at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). These personal traits are pivotal in augment the effectiveness of education, within institutions.
